HTC Snap Smartphone – All About Convenience

Labels: , , , , ,

HTC is on roll after it’s magic handset launch last week. It now offers the Snap for the mass market. But the snap isn’t as loaded as the magic since it’s powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard rather than Android. Windows mobile 6.1 Professional would have been a better option as this would appeal to power users.

The snap offers an inner circle key so e-mails from a select group can hit the top of your inbox. This means you don’t need to sift through endless emails to get those you want. And the full Qwerty keyboard lets you write emails and text quickly. At just 12 millimeters thick, you can fit the snap into just about any pocket, minus the bulge. Though small, its battery pack in enough juice for up to 8.5 hours of non stop chat.

To get connected at any time and keep power user happy, the snap offers high speed 3G High Speed Packet Access connectivity. But you should get an unlimited data plan to get the most out of it. Others futures include a 2.4 inch TFT LCD at QVGA resolution, 192 megabytes of RAM,256MB ROM, internal GPS, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity , a 2 Mega pixel auto focus camera minus flash, and the device matches most audio and video formats.
